Taking the role of piano soloist is Ivan Vokáč, one of the most talented Czech cellists and pianists. During the concert, he will showcase his top-tier skill on both instruments, demonstrating a mastery that bridges the gap between classical interpretation and a modern approach to music. He is a laureate of numerous international competitions, to name a few: Absolute Winner with violinist Jakub Junek at the Concertino Praga 2006. In 2010, he won the Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe scholarship, and in 2012, as a semifinalist, he became the most successful Czech participant in the Prague Spring International Music Competition. He is also a proud member of the Cello Republic ensemble, formed by original members of the renowned Prague Cello Quartet, which has already performed dozens of concerts across Europe and beyond. The string quintet adds a profound richness of tone and harmony that perfectly complements the piano lines for which Ludovico Einaudi's music is world-renowned.
