Piano Recital with String Quintet and Soloists

An evening subtitled "Magical Night" will immerse you in the world of epic cinematic stories – a world where music is not just an accompaniment, but the main protagonist. It brings the very best from the works of the legendary composer Hans Zimmer – the author of iconic soundtracks for movies such as Gladiator, Interstellar, Pirates of the Caribbean, Inception, The Lion King, and many more.

Taking the role of piano soloist is Ivan Vokáč, one of the most talented Czech cellists and pianists, who will showcase his top-tier skill on both instruments during the concert. He is a laureate of numerous international competitions, to name a few: Absolute Winner with violinist Jakub Junek at the Concertino Praga 2006. In 2010, he won the Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe scholarship, and in 2012, as a semifinalist, he became the most successful Czech participant in the Prague Spring International Music Competition. He is also a proud member of the Cello Republic ensemble, formed by original members of the renowned Prague Cello Quartet, which has already performed dozens of concerts across Europe and beyond.

The string quintet, led by Vít Chudý, adds a profound richness of tone and harmony that perfectly complements the piano lines for which Hans Zimmer's music is world-renowned.

Special guests and highlights of the evening are the phenomenal vocalists Eliška Machačová and Milan Devinne, prominent figures on the Czech music scene, who will showcase their vocal artistry in several selected compositions.
